Taj began his artistic journey at a young age painting graffiti and street art while skateboarding with friends. He later took a keen interest in tattooing and more specifically, traditional American styles as well as abstract/psychedelic art. His passion lies in practicing traditional American tattoo techniques while incorporating aspects of abstract art to create unique designs. Taj joined the Black Diamond team and began his tattoo apprenticeship in January 2022.

Both our apprentices (Taj and Bec) are currently working at discounted rates compared to our senior artists while they continue to learn the craft of tattooing.

All consultations, designs, stencils and tattoos are supervised by one of our senior artists and approved every step of the way. This process ensures every client gets quality work, customer service and has a great experience. Jobs are quoted on a per piece basis not hourly rate while our apprentices are in their first year tattooing. This allows all processes and tattoos the adequate time necessary to ensure the best result.
